What made you choose Red Adept Editing?

Many authors on Kboards.com recommended Red Adept, so I decided to give it a try. One great thing about Red Adept is that there are several editors on board, and Lynn coordinates in-between, so the editing process goes smooth and easy. I’ve worked with multiple editors at Red Adept, and they’ve always been prompt and thorough. I’ve never had any complaints about books that have gone through a Red Adept edit.
Do you have a favorite place or time of day to write?
Place matters more to me than time. I work in a co-working space on weekdays, the library on weekends, and in coffee shops when the library is closed. The co-working space is my favorite, because I can chat with people and get up and stretch whenever I want.
Do you like to plan before you write? Or do you prefer to start and see where the story goes?

I definitely have to plan! If I don’t plan, I end up throwing out much of the writing, and even with planning, there are a lot of things to do afterwards. Like checking the timeline and characters’ appearance, researching obscure details, adding descriptions, deleting redundant phrases, reworking sentences, replacing telling with showing, and so on.
You have some fabulous covers. Who does your covers?
Elaina Lee did my Princess series, and Clarissa Yeo did the rest.
You claim to have an obsession with mouthwatering and unhealthy foods. What’s your biggest food obsession?

Lots. But if I have to pick one, it probably is bubble tea. I have to make myself brew my own tea and coffee, or I’d be buying from the stalls every day.
What part of self-publishing do you enjoy the most?
I love that I can decide what my covers look like, and I can publish without waiting for a publisher’s approval.
What do you do when you’re not writing?
I read, dance, and cook (mouthwatering and unhealthy foods).
